Cancellation Policy

Cancellation process for Flight Tickets:

  • The total price displayed includes all applicable government taxes.

  • You are required to pay the entire amount prior to the confirmation of your booking.

  • There will be no refund for 'no-shows' or any partially unused flights.

  • To avail of infant fares, an infant must be under 24 months throughout the entire itinerary you are booking. This includes both onward and return journeys. If the infant is 24 months or above on the return journey, you'll need to make a separate booking using a child fare.

  • Infants must be accompanied by an adult at least 18 years of age.

  • All Tickets/Bookings issued to the customer shall additionally be governed under the terms and conditions as laid out by the respective Airlines / Supplier.

  • Check in:

    • As per the airline rules, the standard check-in time begins 2 hours before departure for domestic flights.

    • For International flights, the check-in time is 3 hours before departure.

    • The passenger needs to check-in at least 2 hrs prior departure for Air India and Air India Express domestic flights, else will be considered as a no show.

    • Infants must have valid proof-of-age documents showing that the infant is under two years old.

    • Additional payment may be charged by the airline for seat allocations.

  • Amendments:

    • HECT India can assist you with amendments to most bookings. In some cases, though, you'll need to contact the airline directly.

    • Every booking made on HECT India is subject to amendment charges levied by the airline, which may vary by flight and booking class. The charges levied by Airlines are Non-Refundable in case of cancellation post amendment.

    • If you amend your booking, you will be charged the difference in fare, if any, applicable when the amendment is made. However if the new fare is lower than the Original fare, difference in the amount will not be refunded, but the rebooking charges as applicable will be collected. The charges levied by Airlines are Non-Refundable in case of cancellation post amendment.

    • In addition to the airline's amendment charges, HECT India charges a Non-Refundable amendment handling fee of INR 300 per passenger per segment within India Domestic bookings.

    • We'll collect these charges from you when we make the changes to your travel plans. We'll also collect the difference in fare, if any, applicable when the amendment is made.

    • Depending on the airline's policy, some booked fares may not be amended.

    • All bookings made through us, can also be amended by calling up the Airline Call Center directly.

    • For within India Domestic bookings, if you amend your ticket offline through our call center a Non-Refundable fee of INR 300 per passenger per segment will be charged in addition to airline's amendment charges.

    • For International bookings (Ex-India/To-India/ Anywhere to Anywhere in the world), if you amend your ticket offline through our call center a Non-Refundable fee of INR 500 per passenger per segment will be charged in addition to airline's amendment charges.

  • Cancellation Policy:

    • Every booking made on HECT India is subject to cancellation charges levied by the airline, which may vary by flight and booking class.

    • Some booked fares may be non-refundable per the specific airline's policy.

    • Convenience fee is non-refundable in case of ticket cancellation by the user, or flight cancellation by the airline.

    • Online cancellations: Cancellations can be made online by signing in to your HECT India Account. Step by step details for online cancellations are available.

    • Offline cancellations: We also accept cancellation requests through phone. However HECT India cancellation charges for such offline cancellations may be higher

    • In addition to the airline's cancellation charges, for within India Domestic bookings, HECT India charges a Non-Refundable cancellation fee of INR 300 per passenger per sector. If for within India Domestic bookings, Cancellation is done through the customer support executives assistance, we will levy INR 500 per passenger per flight. For International bookings (Ex-India/To-India/ Anywhere to Anywhere in the world), HECT India charges a Non-Refundable cancellation fee of INR 649 per passenger per ticket

    • Only cancellation requests made online or telephonic through our customer support shall be entertained. HECT India shall not be liable to entertain any cancellation requests made through any other medium including but not limited to sms, e-mail

    • For e-tickets, if your cancellation request is made less than 3 hours before departure, you'll need to contact the airline directly to get your reservation cancelled

    • If you have done a 'Web/Tele Check-in' with the airline, get in touch with the airline for cancellation. HECT India will not be able to process the refund for the same and will not take any responsibility for the same.

    • Convenience fee charged at the time of booking is non-refundable.

    • For any cancellation made by you for which refund is already processed and if it is found that you have used/made changes to the ticket on the same PNR directly with the airline, Cleartrip reserves the right to debit your original mode of payment against the amount which has been refunded to you.

    • For within India Domestic bookings, if you cancel your ticket offline through our call center a Non-Refundable fee of INR 500 per passenger per ticket will be charged in addition to airline's cancellation charges.

    • For International bookings (Ex-India/To-India/ Anywhere to Anywhere in the world), if you cancel your ticket offline through our call center a Non-Refundable fee of INR 500 per passenger per ticket will be charged in addition to airline's cancellation charges.

  • Refunds

    • It is mandatory to contact HECT India for all refunds, as the airline will not be able to refund your tickets booked at www.hectindia.com

    • If you need a refund for paper tickets, please send them back to us. Your tickets must reach us within 48 hours of the time of cancellation so that we can get them endorsed by the airline for you.

    • If your paper ticket gets lost or damaged, the airline will not be able to process a refund request.

    • All cancellations made directly with the Airline need to be intimated to HECT India by Email or Phone in order to initiate the refunds process

    • Processing times for cancellation and refund requests vary.

    • Cleartrip shall refund your cancellation only after the respective Airline/Service Provider processes to us your eligible refund. In case an airline ceases its flight operations, any refund owed by the airline to the passenger will be processed by HECT India only after receiving the same from the airline.

  • No Show

    • The Airline reserves the right of admission or boarding for onward or return flight, in case the customer fails to board any segment of the travel for his itinerary. HECT India shall not be responsible or liable for such refusal of admission or boarding.

  • GST

    • GSTIN cannot be updated once booking is completed.

  • HECT India will not be responsible for any flight reschedule/cancellations by the airline

 

Cancellation process for Hotels:

Non refundable bookings will attract 100% retention once booked.

Cancellation date and time will be shared at the time of booking and in voucher. The same can be cancelled before the specified date only. 

 

Cancellation process for Tours and Packages:

5% of booking amount will be charged in case of cancellation received during the cancellation period.

If cancelled 15 days from the date of travel 100% amount will be chargeable.

If cancelled 30 days from the date of travel 50% amount will be chargeable.

All the hotel, tours and transfers are non refundable even if not availed by the client due to any unavoidable or personal reasons.

There is no refund for hotel, tour and transfers in case of natural calamities or any disaster. These are beyond our control. We will not be held responsible for such events.

 

Cancellation process for VISA:

You are entitled to cancel your order without giving any reason untill we have started working on your file.

We will reimburse your fee if we have not worked upon your papers and the Embassy Fee will be refunded if we have not paid Embassy. We will use the same payment mode as you used to pay us, and you will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.

We take confirmation from your end through email or through phone or through WhatsApp to start working on your file. Once we have started working on your papers our fee will be charged. Our fee is on top of all the charges you pay to the Embassy or to the VFS.

The embassey fee is 100% non refundable at any point even if the visa gets rejected or they cancel the application without giving any reason. For Embessy fee and cancellation or refund you may refer to the respective Embassey website.

No refund is possible for applied VISA or on the file we have already worked upon.

No refund for paid Embassy fee/VFS fee/courier charges/lounge charges/or any the charges which are being paid to any third party will be non refundable in any condition.

We cannot be held responsible for any rejection, void visa, rejection, cancellation, query raised by the embassy or any issue arisen by any embassy.

 

Cancellation process for Excursions:

5% of booking amount will be charged in case of cancellation received during the cancellation period.

If cancelled 15 days from the date of travel 100% amount will be chargeable.

If cancelled 30 days from the date of travel 50% amount will be chargeable.

All the tours and transfers are non refundable even if not availed by the client due to any unavoidable or personal reasons.

There is no refund for tour and transfers in case of natural calamities or any disaster. These are beyond our control. We will not be held responsible for such events.

 

Cancellation process:

For refund you are responsible to make the cancellation before we start working on your file or as per the cancellation shared with you with at the time of booking .
